Okay, anyway, getting to the point here. This is about the art, after all!
Vision. It doesn't necessarily express any super special awesome form of idea to me. Granted, I might not totally get it if it's supposed to. I also think the design on the head is a bit bland compared to the beautiful detail on the body. Because of this, you get four and a half stars! We're off to a good start!
Originality, five stars! I really think this is nicely original. Quite loverly, really. The set up of the leg banding and the wings are especially unique and nice, I think.
Four stars for our next part, technique. I think it looks nice, especially in the shading and design, but I think some of the coloring on the tail and gold bit of the wing are a little strange. Th tail's fluffy bit has some very blank looking shading to it, and the gold part of the wing also looks somewhat bland. Other than that though, beautiful!
Impact! This didn't leave any amazed feeling with me. It's lovely, and I think I might have to borrow the color palette some day if that's fine with you, but it wasn't any "Oh my god, this is the most inspirational, amazing, fantastic thing I've ever seen ever! WOAH!"
You get four stars here too!
All in all, it's quite lovely, with great anatomy and nicely done shading, especially on the body! Keep it up Marri!
